Submersible Mixers Description
The submersible mixer shall be liftable and lowered, and shall be easily removed for inspection or service without the need for personnel to enter the tank or well.
The agitator shall have a sliding guide rod bracket as an integral part of it, the entire weight of the agitator shall be loaded on a bracket which must be able to withstand all thrust caused by the agitator. The agitator, its accessories and cables, shall be capable of continuous submersion under water to a maximum depth of 20 meters without loss of watertightness.
The speed range of the submersible mixer is generally 15-1450r/min, which can be divided into low-speed type and high-speed type according to the rotation speed.
The low-speed submersible mixer has a rotating speed of 15-120r/min, and a large impeller diameter, generally between 1200-2500mm; the diameter larger than 1800mm is the most commonly used, and its function is prominent in promoting the hydraulic circulation.

Submersible Mixers Application
Mixing and stirring series mixers are suitable for stirring of sewage treatment plants and liquids containing suspended solids.
Low-speed push-flow mixers are suitable for aeration tanks and anaerobic tanks in industrial and urban sewage treatment plants.
They produce strong water flow with low tangential flow, and can be used for water circulation in the tank and the creation of water flow in the stages of nitrification, denitrification and phosphorus removal.
Energy-saving Submersible Mixers Selection
- The mixer must be submerged in water to work, and it cannot work in flammable and explosive environments or environments with strong corrosive liquids;
- Pool type;
- The characteristics of the medium include viscosity, density, solid content;
- The matching power required by the mixer is determined according to the size of the volume, the density, viscosity and mixing depth of the stirring liquid. One or more mixers should be used according to the specific situation.
